The soft shackle recovery kit is made from 12 strands of braided ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), offering a maximum breaking strength of 56,000 lbs, making them strong enough for any recovery situation. The recovery ring is made of 7075 aluminum alloy using precision CNC machining, ensuring high strength and good mechanical properties.
UHMWPE is an extremely high-strength, low-stretch rope (less than 5%) that offers high abrasion resistance and great tensile strength. Each shackle is coated in UV-resistant polyester to protect the fibers from sun exposure, and protective covers are provided to prevent the synthetic rope from overheating and wearing.
Soft shackles are lighter and safer than traditional hooks, taking up minimal space and weight in off-road vehicles. Their synthetic fibers also have the advantage of floating, which could make recovery in a mud hole or body of water easier.
The soft shackle is easy to use and extremely flexible, making recovery connections simple. A self-tightening loop becomes stronger as pressure is applied, making it great recovery gear for boating, camping, personal watercraft, climbing, ATV, SUV, and off-road vehicle.
